How far in advance should I insure a tournament?

We recommend binding coverage 2-4 weeks before the event. If you need Event Cancellation coverage, earlier is better since it must be in place before the cause of cancellation occurs.

Does GL cover all participating teams?

Your GL as the tournament organizer covers claims arising from your operations. Participating teams should carry their own GL. You can require proof of insurance as a registration requirement.

What about injuries during warm-ups?

Yes. GL and Participant Accident cover injuries during all phases of the tournament — warm-ups, games, and between matches on your premises.
