Frequently Asked

What's the difference between GL and participant accident?
GL pays claims when the league is found liable for an injury. Participant Accident pays the injured player's medical bills regardless of who's at fault — it's supplemental medical coverage.
Do we need coverage for our referees?
Referees acting as independent contractors should carry their own GL. If they're your employees or volunteers, they're typically covered under your league's GL policy.
Is abuse coverage needed for adult leagues?
For adult-only leagues, it's less critical. However, if any participants are under 18 or if adults interact with youth in any program capacity, it's strongly recommended.
